Season 1 Points to be made
All right guys, recruiting is gonna be finished as soon as the last team sends in the list of players they want me to add to their team here and thus, the season is set to begin on Tuesday. This means that the deadline for regular season day 1 starting lineups/depth charts are due to the league e-mail (collegehoopsleagueoffice@gmail.com), by midnight Monday night. If you wish to change them at any point in the season, it must be in the league e-mail by midnight the night before the game is to be simmed. I plan on running the sims everyday, but much like recruiting, I may have to change this a bit based on my schedule and when I'll be away, when things are due, etc. A few other things to note:
When sending in a depth chart, make sure to include a target amount of minutes you wish to give every player as well as a base defense (2-3 zone, m2m, etc.), how often you would like to press and what kind of press, what kind of offense you want to run and any other thing that is part of a basketball game you can think of, I can probably add it in here. An essential part of the depth chart most be how fast you wish your team to play on a scale of 1-10. A rating of 1 would mean that you would like your team to play the game at a slow, grind it out pace, while a rating of 10 would mean that you're team prefers to run and gun on any and all opportunities.
Those are the basics of what I'm looking for out of you as the coach. I'll sim the games at various times throughout the day as my schedule permits. I have added a delay effect that allows me to post the games at various intervals throughout the game, so if you catch me while I'm doing your game, you'll be in luck. I'll sim the games from east coast to west coast everyday.
One last thing, please make sure your out of conference schedules are full. If you do not have 4 games by Monday night, I'm going to complete it for you.

Re: Season 1 Points to be made
Same as a normal college game 2-20 minute halves for a total of 40 minutes in a game. Or 200 minutes total to allocate among your players.
Re: Season 1 Points to be made
when filling out our depth chart.. can we just use the players number?

Re: Season 1 Points to be made
I still have to finish uploading rosters, but I'll do those first chance I get tomorrow. I just realized I have the rough draft of a paper due tomorrow, so this will be a fun night.
Re: Season 1 Points to be made
6 games on the slate today, including the 4th one that will be simmed in the game between KAJ Conference preseason favorite Milton and Bill Walton Conference Preseason Runner-Up Hartland.
Re: Season 1 Points to be made
I'm probably gonna do the first 2 for right now and do the other 4 later tonight.
Re: Season 1 Points to be made
Actually, I just did the first one, but I've decided that I need two days in order to sim and calculate stats for every player. That means that we will have to sim on an every other day basis. I will continue simming after I get some dinner.
Re: Season 1 Points to be made
I'm really looking forward to this first game here mickey...possible championship preview?
Should be close, we'll see if your star power or my depth wins.

Royce is gonna be so happy when he sees that score. Dothan just went on a HUGE run in the second half, which I guess is part of my sim that home teams go on runs.
Re: Season 1 Points to be made
I got something to do real quick, then I'll come back to sim our game redsoxfan. I should be back by 10EST at the latest
Re: Season 1 Points to be made

Re: Season 1 Points to be made
Yeah...I was quite surprised. I kept expecting Hamill get back in it, but it never happened. I'm on now and should start the sim within the next 10 minutes.
Re: Season 1 Points to be made
Certainly my pace of play in the first half, I'm stoked to have taken the lead before they go into the lockerroom...let's go BLACK!

Amazing game...one hell of one and I hope we meet again. Luckily enough for me Hutchinson missed some free throws down your end and I was able to get the ball in the hands of my ace in Lynch.
Sakalys played amazing this game and I hope he continues.
Your depth really showed in this game though as your scoring was incredibly balanced.

Re: Season 1 Points to be made
yea welch off the bench was right around double digits in a low scoring game. but how did hutchinson miss?!?!?!? he's supposed to be my shooter too. hendrix didn't appear to play great either tho.
so figure, top ranked commishs team wins on a last second shot after other team ''chokes'' typical huh??? jkjk dog

Re: Season 1 Points to be made
Haha...I'll have my turn don't worry about it. And for the record, I'd be ranked 3rd in your conference if I was in there, behind you and Hamill. Just escaped, great game. Don't worry, we'll both be on the end of some heartbreakers (I just hope that's not in the tournament for my team)
Re: Season 1 Points to be made
its always tougher to beat a team the second time around they say...plus i get the tempo my way next time and get that game in the 70's, i think it's game over just by that

Re: Season 1 Points to be made
ouch
Is there a way to see the stamina levels of my starters? I had my main guys only playing 20 minutes. Did they play the first half then quit?
Not complaining about the sim, just some questions so I know how to fix it.

I'll check it out when I do stats tomorrow. Today I'm just focusing on getting the sims done and diving in deeper tomorrow.
